You will work on advanced research and development, software-defined radio (SDR) systems and payload development for Defence, Cyber and Intelligence programmes. The role suits an engineer with a strong DSP background and experience in reverse engineering.
What you will do
- Carry out hardware, software and signals based reverse engineering of RF systems and waveforms to identify opportunities and improvements.
- Develop and optimise SDR solutions using advanced DSP techniques for electronic warfare and signals intelligence.
- Design and develop new DSP algorithms to improve SDR performance, focusing on signal detection, classification and exploitation.
- Contribute to the development of payloads for advanced communications systems, ensuring compatibility with existing and future technologies.
- Work with developers and testing teams to validate and optimise system performance through laboratory testing, real-world experimentation and field trials.
